Hanging Instructions for Glass Splashback

Important Information:

  • Always select a flat and even surface to fix your glass panel onto.
  • Two people are required during installation.
  • During installation do not put the glass panel down onto a hard surface (tiles, granite worktop) as this will potentially cause damage to the edge / corners.
  • The wall plugs provided are for solid walls only. When fixing to any other type of wall use suitable alternative fixings. If in doubt, please seek professional advice.

Instructions:

  1. Hold the glass panel securely in the required position against the wall. Use a spirt level to check the glass panel is straight and upright then using a sharp pencil mark points through the pre-holes in the glass panel. Be sure to make the points directly in the centre of the pre-drilled holes in the glass panel and do not allow the glass panel to move until all four points have been made.
  2. Drill holes directly through the centre of the four marked points using a 7mm drill bit. Push the plastic wall plugs (A) into the holes in the wall. The wall plugs should not protrude from the wall when fully inserted into the holes. Similarly, they should not sink into the holes either.
  3. Insert the screws through plastic collars (B) and then through the pre-drilled holes in the glass panel.
  4. Insert the screws into the wall plugs and ensure they are all positioned correctly. Using a screwdriver lightly tighten each of the screws to secure the mirror to the wall. Proceed to tighten all screws equally taking care not to overtighten as this could cause the glass panel to break. Do not use an electric or battery-operated tool to do this.
  5. Finally, screw the screw caps (C) onto the screws.
